Feb 29-Mar 3 Fernie Teck Kootenay Zone U12/U14/U16 Slalom/Giant Slalom Zone and Western Ski Cross Race

• The event fee is $200 for the complete 4-day race series (inclusive of banquet).
  
• The away coaching fee for 4 days at $70/day = $280
• 4-day race total = $480 per athlete for the complete 4 day race series

• Alternate option: $120 for Alpine only (SL&GS) or SkiX only (2 days) (inclusive of banquet).
• The away coaching fee for 2 days at $70/day = $140
• 2-day race total = $260 total for 2 days of alpine (SL&GS) or SkiX only

• *Athletes cannot opt out of banquet fees.

Van Use

• For travel in the van with coach (From Golden to Fernie and back) the additional cost is $50 for the weekend
• For travel from Stanford Hotel in Fernie to Fernie Alpine Resort the fee is $10 for the weekend ( priority is given to those who traveled in the van from Golden)

Equipment:

•  U14/U16 SL: chin guards mandatory per BC Alpine
• U12/U14/U16 Ski Cross: Back protector recommended
  

All athletes must complete 2 waivers.

•  RCR Event Release Agreement - Event Waiver 
• RCR Parental Release Agreement - Parental Waiver 
• **Race bibs will not be issued unless both waivers have been completed

Lift tickets are NOT included in the cost but are offered at a discount:
Child (6-12) $51-48/day
Youth (13-17) $95-90/day
Adult (18-64) $127-120/day
