GKHAT Nancy Greene Festival

We have a few volunteers spots left to fill for the upcoming weekend. Please have a look at the volunteer sign up to fill in the last of our event positions.

We specifically need people to fill the following roles:

Saturday:

• GS Course Crew (side slipping course, filling in/pushing out ruts)
• Tail gunners for Will and Mel's U8 skiers
• Tail gunners for Evan and Georgia's U8 skiers

Sunday:

• Dual Slalom Course Crew (side slipping course, filling in/raking out ruts)
• Dual Slalom Start Marshal (organize skiers for the start gate)
• Dual Slalom Starter (setting the racers in to the gate to ready for race)
• Tail gunners for Will and Mel's U8 skiers
• Tail gunners for Evan and Georgia's U8 skiers
• Tail gunner for Rob's U10 group
• Tail gunner for Mac's U10 group
• 2-3 people to provide 40 individually wrapped snacks for course volunteers (a perfect way for people who can't be on snow to pitch in).

We would really prefer NOT to assign people to race positions, so If you have athlete(s) signed up to participate, PLEASE join the fun and find a volunteer position that works for both you and our club. THANK YOU!

Please refer to this document for the event day coaches groups (there are some changes from the Cookie Cup groups).

All volunteers are to check in with Tracy, our Race Director (identifiable with an orange tape band around her arm) at the volunteer table in the yurt on Saturday and Sunday. There you will receive instructions for your position and any gear/equipment needed.

• There will be NO Yurt Access for athletes all weekend. The Yurt will be functioning as the race office only. All athletes will have lunch and breaks in the day lodge. No backpacks will be stored in the yurt this weekend.
• Please arrive EARLY for group organization and bib distribution.
• Pack pocket snacks for your athlete
• Park in the upper parking lot. There will be NO DROP OFF PARKING for the weekend
• Be sure to come join us at the Winston Pub from 3-6 pm for our post race social. Ribbons will distributed to all athletes and we have some awesome prizes to raffle off. Athletes must be present to win.
  

On Sunday join us outside the day lodge post the adventure race for more prizes. Athletes must be present to win.
