U14 Only Qualification race is the first zone race at Panorama

BC Winter Games are held every 2 years. Each BC Alpine Zone Qualifies the top 4 males and females, plus a number of "wildcards" distributed by BC alpine proportionally to each zone. The qualification is based on results at the first Zone Race of the season (Pano). Athletes that qualify have travel from Golden and accommodation at the race handled by BC games covered by a subsidised registration fee. Athletes stay together as a team with transport to and from the Red Mountain also provided by BC games. It's a fun Kootenay Team experience and great exposure to racing and competing on a bit of a bigger stage than in our Zone races.
