Race Fees

Away Race Fee = $60
Lift Tickets = an additional $30 per racer  
   • There is a 25% discount on non racer/ volunteer lift tickets
Van Fee
  • the van fee is $20
  • 9 spots available (additional adults may be needed based on numbers)
  • child must be U8 or older
  • The GKHAT van will leave Golden: Sunday February 23rd at 0630 am and return Sunday evening

Race day Info:
9:30 - Lift opens.
10:00 - Course open for inspection.
10:30 - Course inspection closes.
10:35 - Race starts (two runs per racer, one run in the red course and one in the blue)
Note: if we have several large teams, we will likely assign individual start times for each team. Depending on the number of racers, we are usually finished racing around 12:30. Awards will be in the early afternoon!
The race will be held on Moonshine

Scoring for Awards
The Helen Bavin Memorial Race is a true team event. For each team,
  • The fastest and slowest times will be excluded from the award calculations.
  • The remaining times (using each racer's best time from their two runs) will be averaged to determine an average team time.
  • Each member of a team will receive an award based on the team's average time relative to the other teams.

There will be no individual awards for this event.
Scoring for the awards will be based on the times of U12 and below racers only
